Talking Tots

Talking Tots is a 6 week “Caregiver & Me” speech & language stimulation class led by a Speech-Language Pathologist!

Who?

This class is designed for young children who are not yet talking, children using single words, or children beginning to combine words. 

Age: 1 and 2 year olds

Each week we will have fun incorporating music, toys, and books along with a strategy to help promote the development of your child's speech, language, social, and play skills. Children will love learning to talk and socialize with their friends while parents will leave with tools & strategies to use at home!

Parents will learn: 

-How to teach language skills during daily routines 

-How to promote speech, language, and social skills 

-The power of imitation 

-How to make the most of playtime

-How to decrease tantrums by promoting communication 

-Strategies to encourage language development during story time 

-Ways to encourage bilingual language development
